But we are again on the cusp of transition and from now the year now begins to wane and from this moment darkness begins to defeat the light. – The Autumn Equinox
Septembers’ Full Moon
During the New Moon & the beginning of our Moons’ Cycle, we set intentions, made goals, and dreamt of our ideal future. Now we come to the Full Moon, halfway through our Moons’ Cycle, the brightest & most energetic of the phases.
This can be a time of rising tension & anxiety, if allowed to be. Stay focused on your tasks at hands & don’t allow petty conflicts or gossip to enter your space. During the Full Moon hormones run high, & stepping into our darkness becomes less resistant, allowing us to see the truth of those around us & looking into our own habits & tendencies which are in need of halting &releasing. Sounds daunting? Using ritual & journaling can simplify & make accessible the thoughts we may have been avoiding these last two weeks.
The Autumn Equinox + Mabon begins September 21st to the 29th.The seasons change. Take a moment to notice the Earth shedding its summers growth. Watch the colours change, the air dampen & refresh, & the abundance of the final harvested fruits & vegetables pour into shops. Then not only notice but celebrate yet another successful season of health, family, home, work, love and everything else we have to be grateful for.
